Finding our roots… father’s birth place

Our plan is to find my father-in-law’s birthplace. His birth certificate shows an address in Kingston on Hull. Apparently, Hull was bombed in the first and second world war but our hopes are high it will still be there. We’re in Maidenhead and it looks like a fair distance to travel. So, our choices are by car, bus or rail. We’re planning a return trip in one day. Quite exciting! Looking forward to this adventure. Hopefully, I can find something to paint. Chat later….
